UFC 228 Live Stream: Watch Woodley vs Till online and on TV

In just a few hours time, the UFC will host their latest pay-per-view card of an action-packed 2018.

Headlining the seventh PPV event of the year, which takes place at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, is an eagerly-anticipated welterweight title fight between dominant champion Tyron Woodley and Britain’s Darren Till.

Should Liverpudlian Till reign supreme in Dallas, he’ll become the second Brit to win UFC gold, the first being former middleweight champion Michael Bisping.

Championship was supposed to be on the line in the co-main event of the evening as women’s flyweight queen Nicco Montano was scheduled to make the first defence of her 125lbs title against Valentina Shevchenko.

Montano, however, fell ill during her weight cut and has been removed from the card

Woodley comes into this contest unbeaten in six straight and going 8-2-1 since joining the UFC following the 2013 Strikeforce merger.

Woodley won the title with a first-round knockout of Robbie Lawler at UFC 201 in late July 2016. That highlight knockout followed with a title defense against Stephen Thompson as the co-main event of UFC 205 at Madison Square Garden. That bout went to a majority draw and earned Fight of the Night honors.

But Woodley’s title reign hasn’t been well received since 2017, following disappointing and very negatively-received defenses in a rematch with Thompson at UFC 209 and against Demian Maia at

UFC 214. The later was deemed so poor that UFC President Dana White revoked a chance of facing Georges St-Pierre, opting to book Michael

Bisping vs. GSP instead. Woodley and White have been at odds since last year, with other factors such as Woodley’s desire for money fights, picks of title challengers and Woodley’s return from shoulder surgery playing a role.
